Trunk or Treat

Are you looking for a family-friendly way to spend your Halloween? Look no further!

The LSUS chapter of the Louisiana Association of Educators-Student Program, better known as the LAE-SP, will be hosting its very own Trunk or Treat on Monday, October 28th at 5 pm. This event is open to the public and plans to attract thousands of families and their children.

The purpose of this event is to give children a safe place to trick or treat and spend time with their family. LAE-SP has recruited several volunteers and student organizations to donate candy and volunteer their time to help make this Halloween one to remember.

Cars will be lined up and down the LSUS Pioneer Heritage Center parking lot with their trunks open and ready to fill children’s buckets with loads of candy. Along with candy and games, there will also be food trucks, face painting, fireworks, and more.

LAE-SP member and volunteer, Brooklynn Oney, says, “We have put so much effort into this event to make it successful. This is an event you do not want to miss!”
