Shark Week, hosted by the Discovery Channel, highlights everything about sharks. Airing annually since 1988, they host special programs about shark attacks, like Surviving Jaws, documentaries highlighting interesting individual sharks, like Black Mako of the Abyss, and even fictional shark fights in Jaws vs. Mega Croc.
If television is less your speed, then there is still plenty of shark content for you to explore on the Discovery website. There you can find short informational pieces about different sharks, like the nurse or hammerhead sharks, with 10 pictures of them in their natural habitat.
While on the go, you can listen to their Shark Week podcasts, which are more informational than the broadcast shows. The episodes cover topics like the status of sharks in our oceans or how one can become a shark scientist.
